Wednesday Afternoon sessions
Ages: All ages
When: Every Wednesday
Available times: Two one-hour sessions

Come in clothes suitable for being outdoors, getting a little muddy and spending time around ponies!
Our Wednesday afternoon sessions offer relaxed, welcoming one-to-one time for private clients of all ages to spend outdoors, connect with our ponies, explore nature and focus on the aspect of engagement that feels most meaningful to them.
There’s no pressure to follow a set programme or take part in activities that don’t feel right. Instead, each session is shaped around the individual, their interests and the ways they prefer to engage- everyone connects in their own way.
You might choose to spend time grooming and caring for the ponies, explore something in nature, develop a practical skill, make something, solve a problem, talk, reflect or simply enjoy being outdoors.
Sessions can be adapted to support different interests, abilities, communication styles and energy levels. The focus is on creating a positive experience where you can feel comfortable, involved and able to explore at your own pace.
Along the way, sessions may naturally encourage:
● Communication and connection
● Confidence and independence
● Emotional awareness
● Creativity and curiosity
● Problem solving
● Focus and concentration
● Respect for animals, nature and yourself
Each session can look completely different. You might arrive with a clear idea of what you’d like to do, or decide together once you’re here. There’s room to follow an interest, try something new, return to something familiar or simply enjoy being outdoors without needing to work towards a particular outcome.
The ponies
Our ponies are available as part of the experience, but you don’t need to be pony-mad to take part.
Spending time around them can offer opportunities to slow down, observe, communicate and respond to another living thing. You might enjoy grooming, handling and caring for the ponies, or simply spending time alongside them.
Activities are unmounted and can be adapted according to your preferred level of involvement in a calm, individualised environment
Each session is private and tailored to the individual.
Rather than following a set structure, we take time to notice what feels engaging and worthwhile for you on the day. That might mean getting involved straight away, taking time to observe, trying something new or returning to an activity that already feels familiar. There is no right or wrong way to take part.
The aim is to provide a safe, interesting environment where you can explore your preferred aspect of engagement, build confidence and enjoy meaningful time outdoors.
