The tiny Pony Project
About Us
The Tiny Pony Project was created from a simple belief: meaningful connection, time outdoors and the opportunity to engage in your own way can make a real difference.
We offer calm, welcoming experiences where people can spend time with ponies, explore nature, try practical activities and discover what feels interesting, enjoyable or worthwhile to them. There is no pressure to follow a set programme, achieve a particular outcome or take part in something that does not feel right. Instead, we take time to listen, notice and create experiences around the individual.

Our ethos is rooted in kindness, patience, respect and curiosity. We believe everyone should be given the time and space to feel comfortable, build confidence and take part in ways that suit them. Sometimes that might mean getting involved in an activity, learning a new skill or caring for one of the ponies. Sometimes it might mean observing, talking, reflecting or simply enjoying being outdoors.
The Tiny Pony Project was built by Lottie and Dominic using recycled and reclaimed materials wherever possible. From the very beginning, we wanted to create something that felt personal, welcoming and connected to the land around us. Building the project ourselves has allowed us to shape every part of it with care, creativity and purpose, while giving old materials a new life.
We are proud that the project has grown from our own hands, ideas and values. The spaces, shelters and features you see here have been made from recycled materials, repurposed resources and plenty of hard work. This reflects something important about who we are: we believe in looking at what is already available, seeing its potential and creating something meaningful from it.
That same approach guides the way we work with people. We focus on strengths, interests and possibilities rather than limitations. We believe that small steps matter, that confidence can grow through positive experiences and that there is value in simply having time to connect with yourself, with others, with animals and with the natural world.
At the heart of The Tiny Pony Project is a desire to create a place where people feel welcome, respected and able to be themselves.
A place to slow down.
A place to explore.
A place to connect.
A place to discover what feels meaningful to you.
